We have an extraordinary strength in all types of surgery across the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, ranging from innovative clinical practice to high quality research, with world class impact.
Cambridge Surgical Forum
The forum is a way of achieving further enhancement through a meaningful interaction of surgeons, involving all surgical disciplines and all types of surgeon, both academic and NHS.
Forum meetings
The proposed format of the forum meetings is face to face (or zoom equivalent during COVID-19 restrictions) to cover clinical, research and teaching/training. Specialties would be responsible for presenting one of the topics, in rotation, at each meeting. The meeting will last for approximately 90 minutes and will be held in the early evening, once per term, with a social gathering after the summer meeting.
