Research Assistant
Biography/Research interests
Ashley obtained his BSc in Biochemistry in 2014 and currently works as a research assistant in Dr Kosmoliaptsis’ group. His research projects utilise biophysical and cell-based assays to better understand the mechanisms involved in antibody-mediated graft injury in solid organ transplantation. His main interest is in characterising interactions between alloantibody and Human Leukocyte Antigens to improve immunological risk assessment and graft outcomes in clinical transplantation.
