David was appointed as an Academic Clinical Fellow in urology in 2014.
He is currently undertaking a doctorate on prognostic modelling in non-metastatic prostate cancer under the supervision of Mr Gnanapragasam and Professor Pharaoh (Centre for Cancer Genetic Epidemiology). This has led to the development of Predict Prostate. He is also CI on a multi-centre trial assessing the model’s impact.
Since arriving in Cambridge, David has focused on collaborative clinical projects in the field of prostate cancer, working closely with colleagues in radiology and engineering.
David also maintains a strong interest in clinical urology and teaching. He is a member of faculty on the Cambridge Emergency Urology Course and has written a textbook on Emergency Urology.
